Great Data, Great Achievements: That was the first WeSendit LIVE Event

After our first WeSendit Community Live Event on November 25, 2023, we received an overwhelmingly positive response. The long-planned event at Chollerhalle in Zug was a resounding success! The exceptional venue, a fantastic live band, and culinary delights created the perfect atmosphere.

CEO Jens Herbst welcomed approximately 120 guests from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, and Poland with an emotional opening speech. Jens shared the personal motivation behind WeSendit: a painful data loss incident that drove him to develop a better Big Data solution.

WeSendit 3.0: Much More than Secure Data Transmission

WeSendit 3.0 means much more than just secure data transmission. WeSendit opens the door to a new era of data security through decentralized data storage using Web3. Our goal is clear: We want to make the massive benefits of decentralized networks accessible to everyone — because everyone deserves maximum data security, privacy, and control over their data.

CTO Reto Massalongo emphasized one key feature: the freedom to choose the storage location. Whether Web2 or Web3, WeSendit users will have the ability to decide where their data is stored, even down to the region or country.

Around the world, regulatory requirements for data protection and processing are increasing. WeSendit is the only provider worldwide that offers full user control over data storage location and compliance. Entering the World of Web3: WeSendit Collaborates with Global Players

WeSendit has been working closely with Web3 experts from STORJ and UNIGRID for months. Recently, a global giant — HUAWEI — joined us, opening entirely new possibilities. The collaboration with HUAWEI includes Ku Gallery licensing, Web3 Node integration into HUAWEI Cloud, examination of HUAWEI Marketplace placement, joint software development, and collaborative PR and marketing initiatives.

Nearly 50 developers invested over 12,000 development hours, implementing over 700 screen designs in various resolutions and formats. Jens and Reto expressed deep gratitude to the development teams at Andersen Lab and in-house for their fantastic dedication.

Crypto Exchanges: After Listing Comes More Listings

The attendees received exclusive information: the WSI listing on MEXC Global was announced exclusively during the event and launched on November 27, 2023. The next milestone is the listing on Bybit — one of the top 5 exchanges globally.

2024 will bring a flurry of activities: high-profile marketing collaborations, additional listings, partnerships, and investors.
