WeSendit Media AG processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection provisions, in particular the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR). This policy explains the scope, purpose, and processing of personal data, as well as the rights of affected data subjects.

Within the framework of using the services, WeSendit processes personal data as required for contract performance, technical platform provision, or safeguarding legitimate interests. This concerns registration data (name, email), technical usage data (IP address, device type), billing/payment details, and communication details.

When using File Sharing or File Management, technical metadata required for transmission and storage are processed. A content analysis of uploaded files does not occur, unless required by legal obligation or security necessity.

In the advertising sector, pseudonymized usage data can be processed to correctly target campaigns geographically/technically and determine their reach within the CPM model.

Processing occurs to: deliver contractually owed services, ensure platform stability/security, process payments, communicate with users, and comply with legal obligations. Processing may also occur to statistically evaluate and technically develop the services.

Data processing is based on the necessity for contract performance, legitimate interests of WeSendit, legal obligations, or explicit consent.

Personal data are stored only as long as required to achieve the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Thereafter, data are deleted or anonymized.

Data sharing occurs only as required for contract performance (e.g. to technical service providers, payment processors) or based on legal obligations. All service providers are carefully selected and bound by data protection agreements.

If data are processed outside Switzerland or the EER, WeSendit ensures an adequate level of protection through appropriate guarantees (e.g. standard contract clauses).

WeSendit uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, manipulation, or disclosure. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

WeSendit uses cookies to ensure platform functionality, increase security, and statistically evaluate usage. Some cookies are technically necessary (e.g. login, session management). Other cookies serve analysis or advertising purposes and are only set with consent.

Users can adjust their cookie settings at any time via the provided consent management tool or their browser settings.
