Use of Sub-processors

Last updated: 2026-06-12

WeSendit Media AG delivers its services using selected technical service providers who perform certain data processing tasks on behalf of and according to WeSendit's instructions. These service providers are referred to as sub-processors.

1. Principle of Sub-processing

Insofar as WeSendit processes personal data, this occurs either in own responsibility or – if WeSendit acts as processor – on behalf of and according to the instructions of the customer. Contractual agreements ensure that sub-processors comply with data protection requirements. Responsibility remains with WeSendit.

2. Categories of Sub-processors

WeSendit can include sub-processors who perform infrastructure services, cloud storage, network operation, security monitoring, payment processing, communication services, or analysis functions.

In the cloud model, server and storage resources are provided by contracted infrastructure providers. In the node network model, storage is provided by decentralized node operators who are bound to WeSendit's standards. In the multivendor model, the respective third-party storage providers act as independent controllers.

3. Selection and Control

Sub-processors are carefully selected and checked. WeSendit ensures through contracts that sub-processors process data only on documented instructions and implement appropriate technical and organizational protective measures.
