WeSendit Development Recap: July 2023

At WeSendit, we're always in "code mode". Welcome to another episode of our WeSendit Development Recap. Once a month, we open the secret doors to our engine room and take a look around. What has our great development team been working on in the past weeks? Read and find out.

Status of Major Features

• Address to impress: The address book has been finished.
• Soon you'll manage: The progress of our file management is at 60%.
• Let it flow: Works on the user design for the Web2 and Web3 payment flows have started. Accessing subscriptions will soon be easier than ever!
• Dawning of a new (stor)age: The integration of the first Web3 storage provider has begun.
• Get paid, mate: We started the process evaluation for Paid Download and Pay-as-you-go (PAYG).

Improvements

• Smoothing Upload road: We improved file uploads for slower connections. In case of internet disconnections, your upload will continue once the device has reconnected.
• Many contacts, zero issues: We implemented UI improvements for managing large numbers of contacts in the transfer interface.

Bugfix

• Fixing feedbacks: User feedback messages for certain situations in the application were improved for both successful and unsuccessful actions.

Security

• The Swiss Data Guard: We held a deep security test with over 5,000 attack vectors — and passed with 0 risk vulnerabilities!
